Day 2. Reykjavik

Today's fun trip starts with a drive through Borgarfjordur, a loved nature resort area for Icelanders, to the edge of Langjokull Huge mass of ice. During the drive you'll get the chance to visit the Hraunfossar Waterfalls, a series of waterfalls formed by rivers streaming over a distance of about a half mile out of a lava field. Nearby are the impressively strongly (shaking and rolling around really fast) hot springs of Deildartunguhver, thought about/believed the most powerful in Europe. They provide much of the hot water and (related to the heat deep in the Earth) energy to the area communities. Head via unpaved tracks into the plainly beautiful highland interior of Iceland, crowned by the Langjokull Huge mass of ice. When you reach the huge mass of ice, it's time to board an 8-wheel huge mass of ice truck that will take you on an (enjoys doing fun new things) trip to the entrance of the ice tunnel. During the trip on a guided walk within the huge mass of ice itself, you'll see colors of blue you never knew existed, and learn how huge masses of ice hide the secrets of history. After an about 50-minute visit within the huge mass of ice, it's time to head back to Reykjavik. If you are traveling between June and September, you ´ll take the Kaldidalur highland track, including a stop at UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, where you'll meeting places of historic importance and amazing natural scenery. Into the Glacier: Langjokull Ice Tunnel After nearly five years of study, planning, modelling and careful proper preparation by top engineers, and (opinions about what could or should be done about a situation) from world famous geophysicists with expert level knowledge of huge masses of ice, you can now explore the Langjokull Ice Tunnel, located high on Europe's second largest huge mass of ice! The Langjokull Ice tunnel is the world's first and biggest man made Ice Cap Huge mass of ice tunnel. This (enjoys doing fun new things), once in a lifetime trip to the heart of an Ice Cap Huge mass of ice, starts with a bus ride to the area of Borgarfjordur. On the way to the edge of the huge mass of ice you'll stop and witness natural (important events or patterns of things) such as Deildartunguhver, the largest hot spring area in Europe, and Hraunfossar Waterfalls, a series of waterfalls formed by rivers streaming over a distance of about 900 meters out of a lava field. When you reach Langjokull huge mass of ice, it's time to board a monster 8 wheel huge mass of ice truck to reach the entrance of the ice cave. During the trip within the huge mass of ice itself, you'll see colors of blue you never knew existed, and learn how huge masses of ice hide the secrets of history. After an about 50 minute visit within the huge mass of ice, it'll time to head back to Reykjavik but this time through the Kaldidalur highland track, including a visit at Thingvellir National Park where you'll witness amazing scenery and amazing (wide views of nature scenes/wide areas of beautiful land).

Day 3. Reykjavik

Enjoy a full, free day at fun/relaxation. Although the city of Reykjavik is a big city in every sense, it's been carefully developed and created around some easily (easy to get to, use, or understand) recreational areas and country parks. if you have a interest in culture and arts, the city has a lot to offer in the way of famous/respected cultural institutions, and has become well-known for its long/big music and (singing, dancing, acting, etc., in front of people) arts scene. The famous shopping streets of Laugavegur and Skolavördustigur are home to beautiful fancy stores and charming shops, while Kringlan provides more of a mall experience, with over 150 shops and restaurants under one roof.
